Lyall Gittens 39th birth anniversary dominoes competition is set to commence on March 15 at Girl Guides Pavilion, Brickdam.
Entrance fee is $9,500 and action gets underway at 15:00hrs. The winning team will take home a trophy and $150,000, the runner up a trophy and $80,000 while the third and fourth place teams will pocket a trophy and $40,000 and $10,000 respectively.
The Most Valuable Player in the finals will receive $5,500. The tournament which is being sponsored by Strikers Sports Club, Kaieteur Springs, Boom Town DVD, Gobin and Sons, Becks Lumber Yard, Big Boss Transportation Service, All Season Racing Service, Trophy Stall Bourda Market, Stream Café, Next Level Entertainment, HJTV, Faye Joseph and H J Boom Station will culminate on March 17 at the said venue.
There will also be a King dominoes competition on March 17 at the said venue starting at 14:00 hrs.
