The advent of the inclement weather has started to take its toll on sporting and other outdoor activities in the country, causing a number of them to be shifted indoors, cancelled or postponements.
One such activity being affected in the long awaited Berbice Cricket Board (BCB)/ New Building Society (NBS) Limited, 40 overs second division cricket final. The match, which was slated to be played today at the No 69 ground, has been postponed due to the continuous rainfall.
According to a release from the organisers the long awaited match we will played as early as there is an improvement in the weather.
The teams in the final are No 71 Cricket Club from the Upper Corentyne and the Young Warriors Cricket Club from Cumberland, East Canje, Berbice.
