Proprietor of Dry Shore Rice Mill, Wazeer Hussain, on Tuesday last handed over a quantity of cricket suits to the Aurora Knight Riders Cricket Club on the Essequibo Coast. The club, which was officially established on September 19, 2013, has been gaining tremendous recognition from both the business community and well wishers.
Speaking at the simple handing over ceremony, Hussain said he is extremely impress with the programmes and policies of the club and has pledged to continue his loyal support. The businessman, whose entity is a household name on the Essequibo Coast, was very elated to give back to an organization whose future looks promising.
President of the club Reshad Ally, upon receiving the clothing expressed gratitude to the businessman for his generous contribution and urged the members of the club to continue taking the game seriously. He also challenged them to vie for higher heights.
