Corporation team All Season Racing Service were crowned champions of the F&H Million Dollars Plus nationwide Dominoes competition after winning the final on Sunday night at the National Gymnasium.
All Season Racing Service chalked 78 games to finish ahead of Assassin, who drew the bye to the finals, with 70 and 2012 winners TNT on 62. Franklin Seaforth made the maximum 18 games, Mark Persaud supported with 14 and Errol Seaforth 13 for the winners. Osmond Braithwaite scored the maximum 18 and Deodat Dass 13 for Assassin, while Trevor Smith and Kanhai Samaroo marked 13 each for TNT.
All Season Racing Service won the semifinal with 77 games, while TNT placed second with 64; Specialist were knocked out after managing 53 games. J. Freeman made 16 for All Season Racing Service, A. Chow and S. McKenzie scored 13 apiece for TNT and Specialist respectively.
TNT won the quarterfinal with 74 games, while All Season Racing Service placed second on 72 and Frankie ended in the cellar position with 59 games. J. Chance, Trevor Smith and Kanhai Samaroo made 15 games each for TNT; M. Persaud chalked 16 for All Season Racing Service and K. Pollard 14 for Frankie.
Franklin Seaforth was the most valuable player in the finals. TNT received a trophy, $100,000 and 9 bronze medals, Assassin collected $250,000, a trophy and 9 silver medals and All Season Racing Service, who also received the prize for the best corporation team, grabbed $500,000, a trophy and 9 gold medals. Speaking at the presentation ceremony CEO of F&H Printing Establishment Fazil Hakh congratulated the winners and thanked the participating teams.
