With powerlifting having etched its name as one of the sports that has brought tremendous glory to Guyana is set for another explosive chapter come this Sunday when the Senior National Championships are hosted by the Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPF).
The latest corporate entity to lend tangible support is Solomon’s Enterprise which has sponsored ‘Team Rip It’ that comprise of reigning National and Caribbean Champion Randolph ‘The Accomplisher’ Morgan who is also the Captain of the team, Dr. Osmand Mack and Marino Jeffrey.
The trio will be going all out to rip the opposition apart on Sunday where the best athletes in the land will collide for what is anticipated to be an explosive championship at the National Gymnasium commencing at 10:00hrs, weigh-in starting at 07:30hrs.
Sponsor, Chris E. Solomon said that his entity is very pleased to be associated with the trio and they are expecting great performances come Sunday. “Come support our Rip It Energy Team as we strive to challenge our Limit.”
Team Rip It will be competing under the slogan, ‘Challenge your Limit’.
Apart from focusing on bettering their rivals, athletes will also bear in mind that selection on teams to represent Guyana overseas in 2014 will also be considered based on performances.
