The South Turkeyen Sports Committee in collaboration with Queens College Allied Arts will host a day of Sports on Saturday at the Ministry of Education ground from 09:00hrs.
Carded on the day’s programme is a eight-over softball cricket competition for third and fourth formers and the Finals for first form girls.
In the Boys category an eight-over softball cricket competition will be played for 3rd and 4th formers before the eight-over Softball competition is contested for Girls in 3rd and 4th form.
The softball competition for 3rd and 4th form along with the Final for 2nd form Boys will also be played on Saturday, while a six-over match for parents is also scheduled.
Meanwhile, a five-a-side football tournament will be contested by school teams. Some of the schools expected to participate are QC, Bishops High, Richard Ishmael Secondary and Christ Church.
A 60-meter race for under-13 boys and girls and for boys and girls Open will also be contested.
Trophies Medals donated by the Trophy Stall of Bourda Market will be presented to the winners, while P&P Insurance Brokers, Elton Sampson, Sushmita Mangru, Sandiyah Alli and Vidya’s Enterprise are among the sponsors of the day’s event.
