The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) on Monday October 7, 2013, submitted to Mr. Noel Adonis, General Secretary of the GFF the required prerequisites for the hosting of its Annual GFA/Banks Beer 2013/14 Knockout Cup Tournament.
According to a release from the Association, the five prerequisites that were required and submitted are seen below:
1. Permission from five (5) Associations to play in their jurisdiction.
2. Identification and approval of clubs from their respective Associations.
3. Letter of acceptance/participation from 16 Clubs, (outside the GFA jurisdiction)
4. Budget-Proposed
5. Fixture- Proposed
The release added that the GFA is now awaiting the necessary response, approval and other relevant documentations as regards the Levy fees (Sharing formula used), etc from the GFF.
The tournament is scheduled to be launched in October and is expected to begin mid November 2013 and conclude on January 1, 2014.
