The Guyana Cricket Umpires Council has released the names of the umpires who will officiate in the Guyana Cricket Board\Pepsi 50 overs inter county tournament which will begin on Saturday.
In the first round at the Georgetown Cricket Club ground Bourda between Demerara and Essequibo, Montgomery Chester and Guianand Sookdeo will perform on field duties, while Zaheer Mohamed will serve as stand by.
On Tuesday September 24, Demerara will battle Berbice at Bourda with Clement Brusch and Nandkumar Shivsankar calling play; Cyril Garnath is the stand by.
On Thursday September 26 Shannon Crawford and Cyril Garnath will officiate on the field with Mathew Kissoon doing stand by duties.
The final will be played at Albion on September 29 under the watchful eyes of Nigel Duguid and Imran Mokan with Ovid Archer as stand by.
