Is who tricking who when dem talk bout development? And when dem talk bout development is who development dem talking bout?  Fuh a long time dem boys use to sit down and watch how de development thing was going. And it was easy.
A man buy or rent a bulldozer and a hymac then he tender fuh a contract to build road. He ain’t got to know nutten bout road building. Then he tender and one look at he name gun mek he get de contract. The first thing he gun do is apply fuh an advance then he gun scratch de road.
After a while de man gun pack up and lef de road. It don’t matter if de road done or not, he gun mek some money and he guh get other contract. Sometimes he gun have to do slapdash wuk which gun bruck up after three weeks.
But dem boys seh that de big ones know more about development suh dem does undertake big developmental programmes. That does involve nuff money. Dem ain’t got to do slipshod wuh. All dem got to do is price de project higher than de real price and walk away wid de extra money. Then dem gun share some money wid de contractor by giving he contract that he can’t fulfill. That is wha happen wid Fip who run away wid some money.
But de real big ones don’t have to worry. Special cheque does write out to dem and deposit in special account.  De more dem get is de more dem does want. That is why all of a sudden Bharrat set up four big project.
He did already set up e Skeldon fuh US$200 million when it look like if is only US$100 million spend pun de factory. To this day it ain’t wukking good.
De Marriott was to be a flagship project but because of de hustle it is now a buy as you are project because de government people can’t wait till de hotel done build. De Amaila project money done share out and somebody got to pay back. That’s why Donald trying he best to get de project on stream. He ain’t want shame he comrades.
