Guyana secured eight medals at the Caribbean International Junior Badminton Championships (CAREBACO) which was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico September 8-15, 2013.
The Guyana Team did extremely well to win the eight medals and also brought fourth place in the Team Championships. Medals won are: 2-Golds, 2-Silver & 4-Bronze in the Individual Events which they collected on Saturday evening at the presentation ceremony.
The over-all results are:

PRIYANNA RAMDHANI: 1-GOLD & 2-SILVERS
GOLD- Under-13 Girls Singles
SILVERS- Under-13 Mix Doubles & Under-15 Girls Doubles
ABOSAIDE CADOGAN: 1-GOLD
GOLD- Under-11 Girls Doubles
NARAYAN RAMDHANI: 1-BRONZE
BRONZE- Under-17 Boys Doubles
Quarter Finals- Under- 17 Singles
JONATHAN MANGRA: 1-BRONZE
BRONZE- Under-17 Boys Doubles
NADINE JAIRAM: 1-BRONZE
BRONZE-Under-17 Girls Doubles
MESHONN PERSAUD: 1-BRONZE
BRONZE-Under-17 Girls Doubles
