With sports facilities hardly ever taking on the level of importance it ought to have in the country and world that continues to present many challenges for our youths, the custodians of the National Park is striving
to make a difference in this regard.
Kaieteur Sports had carried a few articles highlighting the state of facilities at this venue with the authorities stating that upgrading was on the front burner.
Yesterday, trucks were seen off loading sand at the Athletic Track while a few loads were seen in the vicinity of the Rugby Field, good news for athletes and others who would use the facility from time to time.
