Man swallows razor blade to protest constant police harassment
A New Amsterdam man who is well known to the authorities has been hospitilised under police guard at the New Amsterdam hospital after it is alleged that he swallowed a razor blade.

Ryan Samaroo, 23, called ‘Scare them’ of Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam, allegedly swallowed the razor blade while in custody.
According to information, Samaroo who is known to the authorities, reportedly expressed frustration at being arrested constantly by the police so he decided to swallow the blade. He was rushed to the New Amsterdam Hospital where he remains warded under police guard.
Samaroo was being held in custody along with his brothers Tony and Alan on a joint charge of robbery under arms.
Investigations are continuing.
