Statistician Charwayne Walker takes a look back at the West Indies B team tour back in 1981. That was the first implementation of the system of ‘blooding’ younger players by the region’s cricket administrators, many of whom did well for the senior team later.
Zimbabwe played host to the first West Indies (B) team tour 1981. The Region’s test reserves were led by Guyanese Faoud Bacchus. Today Kaieteur Sports looks back at matches between the host and the historic West Indies (B) team.
