Dear Editor,
I often wonder whether the leaders of APNU think that everyone in Guyana is gullible. I really was astonished to see their recent statements on youth unemployment. It boggles my mind that APNU pulled the plug on the Amaila Falls hydro project, Guyana’s largest development project, which would have generated countless jobs in so many areas of construction, engineering, accounting, legal, environmental, hospitality and paving the way for this country to grow and prosper!
Today they have the audacity to speak about unemployment….yes…APNU….if you block development and progress at every step you will end up with a stagnated economy and unemployment!
Stop pursuing selfish political goals and work to develop our country.
Tony W. Atchin
