T20 cricket in the West Indies is associated with pulsating music, all night dancing, non-stop partying and of course exhilarating cricket.
Nothing less is anticipated in the Party Stand on August 30 & 31 when Guyana battle T&T in two feature matches at the Stadium under lights. Universal DVD Club Berbice Titans play DCC Wolverines August 30, while the next day Suriname Tigers take on West Demerara Mavericks before the feature game.
The cheerleaders, the fun and frolic, Tents, limited Seating, lots of Beverage and Food Bars, the Carib Girls, 71 Sounds, Slingerz Sounds, DJ Stephan, DJ Dauren and DJ Anand will also be in the Party Stand.
The excitement from what should be a capacity crowd is also designed to create a carnival like atmosphere and a kaleidoscope of color in the stands
Tickets to any Stand including the Party Stand cost just $1,000 and every purchase of three tickets to the Party Stand entitles the buyer another one free.
Tickets for the Party Stand can be had at the entertaining G-Spot Bar, Sandy Babb Street, Kitty, Gizmos & Gadgets Superstore, Dave Sports Bar (Grove), the American Closet (Parika Mall), Lenny’s Icecream Parlour Bar (Mon Repos), Ryan’s Electronic & Music Store (Vreed-en-hoop), Jai Signs (Independence Boulevard), KK Gas Station, Mahaica, Flat Shop, La Grange
It promises to be an all night party as all roads leads to the Guyana National Stadium for two exciting matches per day. (Sean Devers)
