Camptown Football Club and Western Tigers have earned the right to play in the final of the Fruta Conquerors Football club Under-13 tournament following contrasting semi final victories.
Camptown downed the host team via penalty kicks while the Tigers got the better of Renaissance. The two winners will face off from 15:00hrs tomorrow in the final at the Conquerors ground, this game will be preceded by the third place playoff between, Renaissance and Fruta Conquerors at 14:00hrs.
Following the league format of the competition which involved eight teams, Conquerors was on top of the point’s standings with 21 followed by Renaissance on 18, Western Tigers 13, Camptown 10, Georgetown Football Club 8, Santos 5, Fruta Conquerors 3 and Pele without a point.
The executive of Fruta Conquerors is encouraging parents and fans to come out in their numbers and support the youngsters tomorrow noting that they have displayed tremendous talent, grit and determination over the last six weeks during the competition.
