Former Santos standout and national player Godfrey Norville speaking with Kaieteur Sport yesterday via telephone disclosed that a farewell match has been arranged for tomorrow (Emancipation Day), at the GFC ground, starting from 10:00 hrs.
According to Norville, the game which is opened to all veteran footballers is a farewell match for former Santos player Seaton ‘Flores’ Rodney, who will be leaving the country shortly to take up permanent residence in the USA.
Norville is asking all interested veterans to turn up at the venue to participate in a friendly encounter for the former Santos player.
