The recently formed Rose Hall Town Athletic Club is set to host another race, this time in observance of Emancipation as they make their contribution towards the revitalizing of athletics in Berbice.
This Emancipation Day Road Race will begin at 07:30hrs at the Ulverston Bus Shed and end at the Rose Hall Town Arch, covering a distance of approximately 4km.
The top performers in the various categories (juniors & seniors) both male and female will be rewarded.
The race is sponsored by Arch Way Snackette, Fiesta Fish Shop and Rajendra ‘Turbo’ Jagdeo of Kris Jagdeo Construction. Interested athletes are asked to make contact with coordinator Godwyn Allicock on telephones numbers, 660 9048 or 337 4774 or Mr. Colin Bynoe Jr. on 629 7613.
