Samuel Pinder, a 43-year-old taxi driver was shot in the face by bandits during a robbery last evening.
According to sources, Pinder, who is a resident of Da Silva Street, Newtown, was hired to take some men to Guyhoc Park. While on the way, they shot and proceeded to rob him.
He was taken to Georgetown Public Hospital. According to a GPHC press release, Pinder was listed as being in a stable condition. Investigations into the shooting are continuing.
