President of the Georgetown Dominoes Association, Faye Joseph, sponsored competition will commence today at Gaulding Place in South Ruimveldt.
The first placed team will collect $175,000, the runner up $70,000 and the third placed $35,000. The female who share the first love and the player of the final will receive $5,000 each. Cody Girls, Rage and R and R will battle in the first round, while Assassin, Delta Force and Middle Road Warriors will face each other in the second.
The third round pits C 7, Specialist and Providence; B6, B4 and Turning Point will clash in the fourth, while the fifth will see TNT, Gangster and Thunder engaging each other. Wild bunch, Agape and Mix Up will battle in the sixth and Impressions, Lions and Phantom in the seventh.
The winners will go through to the second round. Action gets underway at 13:00 hrs.
