Four more potentially exciting matches in the Stag Beer sponsored West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) senior league are slated for this weekend at the Den Amstel Community Centre Ground, West Coast Demerara.
Today from 14:00hrs it will be the clash of the pointless teams when De Kinderen and Beavers goes head to head. Neither team have come off the mark, in the case of Beavers, after a pair of matches, De Kinderen losing all four of theirs to date.
They will both be aiming to get their points tally off the mark today which makes this clash, interesting.
The main game today features Seawall FC and Bagotville/Nismes. Seawall, formerly Pouderoyen boast a perfect record of two wins from as many matches and will be going after win number three.
Bagotville/Nismes are ahead of them on the points table having recorded three wins from their four matches with one defeat. An intriguing showdown is anticipated.
Another double header is fixed for tomorrow at the same venue. Young Achievers, another Pouderoyen based unit, will take on Uitvlugt in the main attraction; both teams are unbeaten after two matches apiece.
The curtain raiser pits home side Den Amstel (2 wins 1 loss) against Eagles of Stewartville which have a single point from their three matches so far.
