The Cavaliers Sports and Tour Club (CS&TC) will stage a 10K walk in memory of the late Clarence D. Kirton around the National Park on Saturday June 29 (tomorrow) and the cream of the nation’s race walkers are scheduled to participate.
The man to watch is Lindener, Rudolph Mitchell, whose exploits on the trail have earned him an unenviable 114 unbeaten streak record. Female contestant, Donna Ramkissoon has also been in training and is expected to walk away with the top prize in the distaff department.
The participants will contest for trophies and medals donated by the corporate community. Action time is 06:30hrs.
