In GDA President Father’s Day Dominoes tourney
C7 were crowned champions on Sunday last when the Georgetown Dominoes Association (GDA) held its President’s Father’s Day Dominoes tournament at the Association’s headquarters in South Ruimveldt Park, Greater Georgetown.
C7 amassed 84 games to finish ahead of Assassins who totaled 77 games and Thunder who had 69 games. The winning team collected $150, 000 while Assassins took home $75, 000 and Thunder $35,000.
Reuben Cato of C7 top scored with the maximum 18 games while O. Braithwaite had a similar number of games for Assassins. T. Bailey had 16 for Thunder while S. Taylor also of Thunder was the lone ‘love bird’.
The prize money and Trophies were presented by GDA President Fay Joseph while a number of Fathers received Father’s Day gifts.
