The West Indies Fullbore Shooting Council has named an A and B team to compete in today’s Australia Match at the Paragon Ranges in Barbados.
Team Captain Paul Slowe in making the announcement yesterday afternoon said that the Coaches were very impressed with the level of shooting and commitment displayed by the marksmen and women which prompted the naming of two teams.
The A-Team comprise of Lennox Braithwaite (Guyana), Ransford Goodluck (Guyana), Mahendra Persaud (Guyana), Norris Gomez (T&T), David Rickman (Jamaica), Jose Nunez (Jamaica), Marlon King (Barbados), Canute Coley (Jamaica), Wayne McNair (Jamaica), and Sean Elliot (T&T). The two reserves are Anderson Perry (Antigua & Barbuda) and David Rajnauth (T&T). Coaches are Paul Slowe (Guyana) and John Nelson (Jamaica) while the Manager/Adjutant is Roland Forde (T&T).
The B-Team comes from Ezekiel Joseph (T&T), Tommy Greenaway (Antigua & Barbuda), Leo Ramalho (Guyana), Valarie Newman (Jamica), Basillos Hado (Jamiaica), Carl Awong (T&T), Shelly Ann Hinds (Barbados), Oscar Waldron (T&T). The Coaches are Dennis Lee (Jamaica) and John Fong-Yew (T&T).
Competition will get underway at 08:00hrs at the 300 Yards Range.
