Despite the rains, the Berbice Cricket Board was able to complete two matches in the BCB/Universal DVD T20 Competition for first division teams in Berbice. At Albion, host Bermine led by a fine all round performance by West Indies Under-19 selectee, Romario DeJonge-Shepherd thrashed Upper Corentyne by a massive 70 runs.
Winning the toss, Bermine took first strike and compiled a challenging 138 for 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. DeJonge-Shepherd opened the batting and top scored with 35 runs (2×4).
He was supported by his opening partner Joemal LaFleur with 23 and an unbeaten 20 from Keon DeJesus. For Upper Corentyne, right arm medium pacer Kamesh Sugrim took 4 for 24 off his four overs.
In reply, UCCA were squeezed for a paltry 68 for 8 off 20 overs. Only Nazim Mohamed and Jameel Azad resisted with 26 and 20 not out respectively.
For Bermine, Julian Moore, Shepherd and Damien Vantull took two wickets a piece for 2, 8 and 13 runs respectively.
Over at the Port Mourant ground, the host won the toss and invited Rose Hall Town Gizmos and Gadgets to take first strike. RHTG&G scored 129 for 7 wickets off their allotted 20overs. Renrick Batson led the way with 38 and was supported by National senior all rounder Rajiv Ivan with 35. Bowling for Port Mourant Karibee Rice, off spinner Samuel Kisnasammy took 4 for 19 off four overs. He was supported by Manoj Looknauth with 2 for 34.
In reply, PMKR were bundled out for a paltry 70 to lose by 50 runs. Chandrasekhar Arjune and Joshua Ramsammy resisted with 25 and 21 runs respectively. Dominic Rikkhi with 3 for 15 and Clinton Pestano with 2 for 13 were the main wicket takers.

RHTG&G defeated PMKR by 50 runs. RHTG&G made 129 for 7 off 20 overs with Renrick Batson 38 and Rajiv Ivan 35. Samuel Kisnasammy took 4 for 24 off 4 overs and Manoj Loakhnauth 2 for 34. In reply, PMKR made 79 to lose by 50 runs. Chandrasekhar Arjune made 25 and Joshua Ramsammy 21. Bowling for RHTG&G, Dominic Rikkhi 3 for 15 and Clinton Pestano 2 for 13.
