The Guyanese community in Barbados did not miss out on the traditional Phagwah celebrations. They came out in their numbers to celebrate in their adopted homeland.
Holi activities on the island were hosted Sunday by two temples, the Jai Lakshmi Mandir on Pinfold Street, and the Welches Terrace Mandir.
In these photos, Guyanese ate, partied, and played late into the night in the compound of the Welches Terrace Mandir.
