The second victim of the Norton Street, Lodge accident which occurred three Tuesdays ago succumbed to her injuries on Monday at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC)’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Dead is 53-year-old Phyllis Luckie of Norton Street, Lodge. Luckie is the second person to die as a result of the accident. On Saturday, 21-year-old football player Colin Edwards succumbed to head injuries he sustained following the accident.
On February 7, last, at around 20:30 hrs, Edwards was proceeding west along Norton Street on motorcycle CG3325 when he struck two women who were waiting to cross the road.
The third victim, Lydia Bishop was also hospitalised, but with minor injuries. She was discharged the following day from a private hospital.
