A fair-sized crowd that included Sales & Marketing Executive of Banks Dih Carlton Joao, Guinnes Brand Manager Lee Baptiste, President (acting) of the Guyana Football Federation Franklin Wilson, Petra Organisation Co-Directors Marlan Cole and Troy Mendonca witnessed an action-packed evening of excitement in the East Coast segment of the Guinness ‘Greatest of de Streets’ Futsal Compettion on Friday, at the Buxton PlaygroundTarmac.
Staged for the first time on the East Coast of Demerara corridor, fans endured a late start which was preceded by remarks from Joao, who kicked off the tournament and Wilson, before settlng down to enjoy eight exciting matches which saw wins for Beterverwagting ‘B’, Paradise, Melanie ‘B’, Plaisance ‘A’, Mahaica, Melanie ‘A’, Buxton ‘A’ and BV ‘A’.
