Liam Sebastien grabbed four wickets for 17 runs off 4 overs as Windward Islands defeated Leewwrd Islands by 10 runs when the Caribbean T20 tournament continued last evening at the Queens Park Oval, Trinidad and Tobago.
Windward Islands won the toss, batted first and mustered 111-8 off their allotted overs. Miles Bascombe top scored with 29 (2×4 1×6) while Andrea Fletcher supported with 24 (1×4 1×6), Devon Smith 16 (2×4) and Kenroy Lesporis 14.
Anthony Martin, Gavin Tonge and Chesney Hughes picked up 2 wickets each.
Leeward Islands in their reply were limited to 101-9 in 20 overs. Justin Athanaze with 24 (1×4 2×6) and Devon Thomas 20 (1×4 1×6) were their principal scorers as D. Johnson 2-18 supported man-of-the-match Sebastien in the bowling department; Winwards won by 10 runs.
