– granted $250,000 bail each
Two Tactical Services Unit ranks were today charged with manslaughter in connection with the October 7, 2012 shooting death of 21-year-old Dameon Belgrave.
But Corporal Shurland Williams and Constable Errol Williams were released on $250,000 bail each. They are to return to court on January 22, 2013.
Belgrave was accidentally shot by TSU ranks who were pursuing the occupants of a vehicle in the vicinity of the White Castle Fish Shop in Hadfield Street. He would have celebrated his 22nd birthday the following day. (see more details in tomorrow’s issue)
