The Guyana Sports Development Foundation (GSDF) will be running off a Female U-21 Developmental Football Tournament on Sun 30th December 2012 at the Ministry of Education Sports Complex, Carifesta Avenue, Thomas Lands commencing at 12:00hrs. The GSDF will be the main sponsor with the GFF, Scotia Bank and DDL the other sponsors. The GFRC will be providing Referees
The teams expected to participate are Berbice, West Demerara and Scotiabank/Pepsi All Stars. Linden had previously indicated a willingness to participate but opted out due to various reasons. The organisers are trying to get Rupununi to participate. Georgetown and Bartica are unable to field an U21 team.
The 1st game starts at 12:00hrs between West Dem & the All Stars Team, the 2nd game starts at 14:00hrs and the final game starts at 16:00hrs. If Rupununi are able to come the fixture will be readjusted. Games will be played for a period of one (1) hour each match with points awarded to the winning team and for drawn matches.
Prizes will be distributed to the Winners, 1st Runner up and 2nd Runner up.
This tournament may be an Annual Affair during this period with more teams taking part including East Bank, East Demerara, Linden, Bartica & Georgetown.
Persons who are willing to contribute to this inaugural tournament are welcome to do so.

14:00hrs – West Demerara vs Berbice
16:00hrs – Berbice vs Scotiabank/Pepsi ALL STARS
