– Michael Hyles Franco appointed Senior Club Coach
The Management of the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club has announced a major restructuring of the leadership of its cricket teams with the Club Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster stepping down as Cricket Manager of the First Division Team. Patrick Lewis has been appointed Manager of all the male cricket teams – Under-15, Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21, Second Division, Intermediate and First Division, while Janet Ramsammy would be in charge of the female team.
Long serving Berbice Head Coach Michael Hyles-Franco has been appointed Head Coach with special responsibility for the First Division Team and the development of new talent. Hyles-Franco would be assisted by coaches Renwick Batson, Delbert Hicks, Loyydel Lewis and Shawn Pereira.
The Club has also announced that Daniel Lewis would captain the Farfan & Mendes Under-15 Team with Brandon Prashad as his deputy, while Lewis would also captain the Under-17 team with Viendra Gooniah as the Vice Captain. National Under-19 captain Shawn Pereira is the Under-19 captain with Shailendra Shameer as his deputy, Dominique Rikhi would be in charge of the Under-21 team and would have Shawn Pereira as his vice captain.
Ravi Narine and Eon Hooper is the captain and vice captain respectively of the Second Division and Intermediate teams, while Shemaine Campbelle and Erva Giddings are in charge of the female team. West Indies player Assad Fudadin is the captain of the Senior First Division teams while his deputy is Shawn Pereira.
