The West Demerara Sub-Association for Table Tennis held a one-week Summer Camp during August 13-19 at the the Goed Fortuin Community Centre under the guidance and supervision of coaches, Muniram Persaud and Kumraj Thakur.
The Camp was reported to be a success with a competition being held after the event. Khemraj Goberdan won the 11-years-and-under Open title ahead of Nicholas Jordan and Bhramesh Persaud in that order.
Relaldeo Griffith was first in the Under-13 Open competition with Samuel Persaud second and Jonathan Anderson third. Persaud returned to take the Under-18 title with Griffith second and Rayton Newton third. Payless Variety Store sponsored the event.
