The bodies of two Chenapau men were recovered on Wednesday, a day after they disappeared following an accident in the Potaro River.
Police in a statement said that the bodies of Joseph Marco, 22 and Dwayne Williams, 20 were found in the river by a search party.
The boat mishap occurred around 02:00 hours on Tuesday.
Police said that their investigations have so far revealed that a boat driven by Joseph Marco of Chenapau with occupants Dwayne Williams and Donald Andrews, also of Chenapau, and two other persons, struck an object and toppled, while navigating the Potaro River.
Andrews sustained injuries and was taken to the Mahdia Hospital for medical attention while the two other persons escaped injuries and are reportedly safe.
