– All roads lead to Strikers Sports Club
Come tomorrow, it will be fireworks as Fox and Gittens Presents the Third Annual Ansa McAl-sponsored 27-team Stag Beer Domino competition at Strikers Sports Club, which is located at Meadowbrook Drive, Meadowbrook.
The winning team will pocket a lucrative $150,000 purse with the second place unit taking home $75,000 and the third place team $50,000.
Some of the teams in the competition include defending champions, Mixup, T.N.T, Cody Seven male and female, Robb Street Strikers, Wild Bunch, Next Level, F&H Supremes, Strikers Sports Club, Providence Sports Club, YK Six, Lumber, Frankies, Tone, Guyana Legion, M Six, Ministry of Health, NCN, Turning Point, Stabroek Warriors, Guysons, Jiffi Lubes, Sideline Domino Club, Shop Six, Rage, Mo Fire, Arsenal, Transport Sports Club, Mambo Bar, Rockies Bar, Airport, NIS among others.
Stag Beer will be having special promotions with beers being sold at four for $1,000. Double Six time is slated for 2pm, other sponsors for this event are Michael Persaud of TNT, Mambo Bar, F&H Printing Establishment, Wild Bunch, Sandy’s Funeral Home, Bonny Supermarket, Luther’s Worthy Cause Pawn Shop and Kanhai’s Electrical.
Each team is being kindly asked to walk with a good pack of dominoes for this event. There will be giveaways during the course of the tournament.
