A staffer of CARICOM General Insurance Company Inc. is being sought by police for a multi-million
dollar fraud at the Regent Street Company.
In a notice published today in Kaieteur News, the company said that the employee, Saudia Shaw, of 174 East Field, Nandy Park, East Bank Demerara, is no longer a staff member there.
The notice also warned that Shaw is not authorised to conduct business on behalf of the company and that the insurance company wants anyone with information on the woman’s whereabouts to contact the office.
The fraud, according to a staff member of the insurance company, has been reported to the police and Shaw is now wanted for questioning.
