Mr Editor,
It is with much concern that my missive reaches you. In the community of Cummings Lodge there are many robberies committed on individuals. For years these criminal attacks have been waged on a particular businessman.
This individual, Mr Mohamed Shaman Khan, has been the victim.
I would like to state that his application for a firearm license has been rejected for whatever reason best known to those seated and live in comfort.
This individual wrote to President Ramotar only to be sidelined once again. Mr Khan’s application for whatever reason is not given the urgency it duly deserves.
My family has also suffered from a spate of robberies.
This missive is meant to inform those who have the authority of granting firearm license to kindly considered a decent and deserving applicant his democratic right to protect himself and family from intrusion to their privacy.
The citizens of this community await the urgent intervention of the Minister.
Umar Saied
