Guyana National Rifle Association (GNRA) Small-bore Captain, Ryan McKinnon, in a release has informed of new arrangements for shooters using the Tactical Services Unit (TSU) Range on Saturday’s, the day the GNRA has access to the facility for official practice.
The release informed that, “Due to the fact that the range attendance is continually growing and
the TSU Range can only accommodate 3 shooters on the line at a time, I would like to advise you of the following steps that will be put in place to facilitate members coming to the range to shoot as of (yesterday) Saturday 3rd March 2012.”
The release continued, “We will be accommodating as always members on a first come first shoot basis, provided that the desired shooting distance is being used. Adjustments to shooting distance can be made for groups of 3 shooters desirous of shooting at the same distance or otherwise if range attendance numbers are low.”
The Range is open from 13:00hrs to 17:30hrs on Saturdays.
The shooting programme is as follows:
5 & 10 metres – 13:00 to 15:00hrs (Beginners will be given priority at 5m)
15 & 20 metres – 15:01 to 16:30hrs
25 metres – 16:31 to 17:30hrs
The new arrangement is not set out as a range rule but more of a measure to decrease long waits. All decisions for range use will be made by the Range Officer on duty.
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
