The action in the Preparatory T10 Softball Cricket Tournament now enters the 6th week and cricket lovers have been entertained by top class batting bowling and fielding. The action continues with several exciting encounters and cricket lovers would not want to miss out on the action. The fixtures for the week are: Male Open 10/10 knockout competition, Lower East Coast Zone final: Zalata XI vs Challengers XI.
OVER 35 – 20/20 Round Robin: Better Hope XI vs Success Masters
Upper East Coast Malo Open 10/10 KNOCKOUT: Over 35 – 20/20 Round Robin: Young Guns vs. Mahaica Sports Club. Marshon Over 35 vs. Farmers XI.
East Berbice Zone Male Open 10/10 Knockout (Zone finals): Memorex vs. Karibee Boys. The players are competing for lucrative prizes including $100,000 and a trophy for the male open while the runners up receive fifty thousand dollars and a trophy. The man of the match in the finals receives $10,000 and a trophy. The winners in the female open category cart off $50,000 and a trophy while the runners up go home with half that amount and a trophy. The woman of the match in the finals wins five thousand dollars and a trophy. The winners in the Over 35 category get $75,000 and the runners up half that amount while the man of the match in the finals wins $5000 and a trophy.
