Young amateur boxers will get a chance to exhibit their wares when the tournament committee of the Guyana Amateur Boxing association (GABA) stages the Mashramani juniors and schoolboys tournament on Saturday February 18 and 19 at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
GABA Tournament Director, Terrence Poole said that the tournament is planned with the aim of providing activity for the Simon Pures even as executives continue to evaluate the development of these pugilists.
The tournament is open to youngsters of all of the gyms affiliated to GABA. Further, some senior boxers will also be on show in specially arranged exhibition matches. Admission is free.
