Dear Editor,
Over the years, the National Insurance, based on the Government’s Award would pay that increase to all National Insurance Pensioners.
I am reliably informed through the National Insurance staff that the eight per cent awarded and to be paid before the election of 28th November, 2011, has to date not been paid and that persons (pensioners) receiving a high pension will not be receiving this increase.
So bear in mind that increases were paid in 2009 and in 2010.
In addition, pensioners have not been receiving retroactive increases, a decision of the National Insurance Board. (I would appreciate it if you could not publish my name and address just put “a concerned retired person).
