The safety of three 13-year-old students is assured. The parents of the minors are relieved. The three left the confines of their homes with the intention of heading into the interior.
While this newspaper was not informed whether the three girls were accompanied by an adult or were by themselves, their arrests came after the parents of the teenagers made contact with officers at the probation department in Georgetown.
The three girls attended the Charity Secondary School and according to reports, officers are presently interviewing them.
The teenagers are from the Charity Housing Scheme and they went missing almost two weeks ago. They were arrested on Saturday.
