Scotia Bank along with Ming’s Products & Services Ltd are the latest corporate entities to partner with the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club (RHTY&SC) in support of the club’s 2012 activities. Scotia Bank, a long standing sponsor of the club handed over a cheque valued $145,000 while Ming’s Products and Services donated a set of cricket balls valued, $50,000.
Secretary/CEO of the Club Hilbert Foster in remarks stated that the Bank of Nova Scotia and Ming’s Products and Services have over the years been strong supporters of the club’s efforts to make a difference through sports and education.
Foster expressed gratitude to both entities while assuring them that the RHTY&SC would always maintain its status as Guyana’s leading youth and sports organisation. The Bank’s sponsorship would be used to host the 3rd Annual Scotia Bank Tribute to Teachers Programme among other things.
The balls would assist the junior cricket teams of the club to properly prepare for upcoming Berbice Cricket Board tournaments.
Marketing Manager of Scotia Bank Ms. Jennifer Nelson noted that the Bank was pleased to be associated with the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club because of its proven track record of success while Human Resources Supervisor of Ming’s Products & Services Ms. Joyann Baird wished the club more success in the future.
