Hadi’s World Inc. softball begins Sunday

The Hadi’s World Inc., formerly the City Mall of Regent & Camp Sts., Male/Female nationwide softball cricket tournament begins Sunday throughout the country. The competition is being played in three categories: Male Open 15/15, Female Open 10/10, and Male over 40 yrs 25/25. Winning prizes for each category is $100,000 and a trophy, Runner-up is $50,000.00 and a trophy. Player of the Tournament and Player of the Match in the finals will each receive $10,000 and a trophy.
The competition will be put on hold for two weeks: Feb. 19th & 26th at the beginning of the GT&T 10/10 tournament. The day/night finals are readjusted to April 28th. Teams from Demerara are asked to call Wayne Jones at 650-1790 or 225-0994. For West Berbice call Robby Saywack at 660-0049 or 688-7622. For East Berbice: Roy Jafferally at 654-8187. Essequibo: Khalid Baksh at 618-1905.

Pitch 2 – 9:30am-Farm vs Road Runners. 11:30am-Buxton Stars vs Underdogs. 1:00pm-Trophy Stall Angels vs Young Achieverz. 2:30pm-Enterprise Stars vs Ariel Divas.
Education ground: Pitch 1 – 9:30am-Trophy Stall B vs Herstelling. 11:30am-Wolf Warriors vs Omesh X1. 1:30pm-Omesh X1 vs Trappers. Pitch 2 – 9:30am-Tornado vs Queenstown Masjid. 11:30am-P & B Electrical vs Renegade. 1:30pm-Park Rangers vs East Bankers.
Cyril Potter College ground: Pitch 1 – 9:30am-P & P Vipers vs Young Guns. 11:30am-Cena X1 vs Bedi Ramjeewan X1. 1:30pm-Defenders vs Bedi Masters. Pitch 2 – 9:30am-Savage Masters vs Success Masters. 1:30pm-Mahaica Masters vs Uitvlugt Warriors.
Berbice Zone: Karribe Girls vs Rose Hall Females at Rose Hall. Edinburg Females vs No.55 Females at #55. No.51 Females vs CWC Females at CWC. Blairmont Blazers vs Guru X1 A at Bush Lot (WCB) on Pitch 1 at 10:00am. Guru B vs Bush Lot New Generation at Bush Lot on Pitch 2 at 10:00am.
Essequibo fixtures will be finished by this afternoon. Teams can call Khalid Baksh.
