Prudential Industrial Technologies of Lot 8 Water and New Market Streets grasped
the opportunity to become the first business entity to ink its name to the list of sponsors of this year’s edition of the Annual NaMilCo Football Festival which is set to run from January 29-February19.
According to a release, the Company has undertaken to improve the water supply at the Tucville ground which is the venue to host the tournament.
The release added that a state-of-the-art water pressure system was sourced by the club from the Company and it is expected to be installed before the tournament commences.
In brief remarks CEO Wayne Forde praised the Fruta Conquerors Football Club for its steady progress and its ability to retain sponsorship and support, while continuing the Festival and developing the Tucville community ground at the same time, which has been able to benefit the community at large.
He said his Company Prudential Industrial Technology and Oasis Water is pleased to lend support to community development in this form.
Treasurer of the Fruta Conquerors Football club Candia Shepherd thanked Forde for his support over the years and promised to ensure continued development, accountability and protection of the facilities on the ground with the help of the executive, players, sponsors and members of the Tucville community.
Meanwhile, 16 of the top teams from the around the country will participate in this year’s tournament which carries a first prize money of $1million, runner-up$500,000, 3rd place-$200,000 and 4th place-$100,000 along with trophies.
In addition, individual prizes will be awarded to the Most Valuable Player, the Highest Goal Scorer, and the Most Disciplined Team.
