The Ministry of Agriculture’s Artificial Insemination Laboratory project on Tuesday attracted two bids at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board (NPTAB), for the supply, delivery and installation of laboratory equipment.
Western Scientific Company of Trinidad and Tobago submitted a bid US$12,378,863.58 while Int’l Pharmaceutical Agency Guyana (IPA) offered G$80,334,401.
During the latter part of 2011, Cabinet greenlighted the construction of a $28M artificial insemination laboratory at the National Agricultural Research and Extension Institution (NAREI), Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara.
