I hate to keep repeating myself but it is true. More people are heading to the hospital after they were the victims in motor vehicle accidents.
Gone are the days when failing brakes and snapped steering caused accidents. This time the root cause is poor judgement and gross disregard for laws.
No one would want to overtake on a turn because of the blind corner. But one motorist is going to attempt this bit of foolishness, utterly disregarding the lives he happens to be transporting.
Sadly, none of the passengers would say a word while the driver is doing his bit of madness prior to the final moment when he would cause them serious injury.

There are going to be reports of a runaway girl and while there is nothing new in this area, people would be surprised that the girl was not any ordinary girl. The girl would appear to be under strict supervision, but this is exactly where the problem lies.
She is going to be rebelling and then suddenly, having accumulated some money, would disappear.
The police would be out in their numbers and when found, courtesy of some observant people, the girl would say that she was abducted. Another individual is going to have to prove that he is innocent.

Word will come that some missing crewmen were actually smuggling alcohol when they encountered rough seas. The boat would be heavily laden beyond the point of safety.
Strange enough, the owner knows where it is.
