Thieves on Wednesday night last daunted the spirits of two hard working entrepreneurs, after they broke into the business of Khrishna Lall and Germaine Edwards.
Both Edwards and Lall have been operating a cell phone centre at Anna Regina for a little over three months.
Edwards said that the day before the incident, he did not operate at the business place which he and Lall jointly operate.
He said the thieves who apparently are familiar with the business premises gained entry through the main door by cutting the bottom of the grill that lent support to the door.
Edwards said that some $700,000 worth of cell phones were stolen.
The young man said the matter was reported to the police. He said that the thieves who were more interested in cell phones did not waste time carting off any other stationery article.
Edwards said that both partners will continue their business in another week after they endeavour to put in place stringent security measures.
