Thank Sponsors for 2011, promise better things in 2012

With the Horseracing season winding down, a number of the clubs have completed their programmes for the year 20112012. One such entity is the Ryan Crawford Memorial Turf Club and Sports Facilities (RCMTC&SF) situated at Alness on the Corentyne Coast.
The club which is named after one of the pioneers in horseracing, Ryan Crawford, is presently under the astute leadership of Horse race magnate Colin Elcock and a management team made up of Attorney at Law Ryan Crawford, Mark Crawford, Aubrey Elcock, Bobby Vaughn, Dr Dwight Waldrond, Fazal Habibulla, Ms Noresa Saul and Ms Neirmala Samaroo and senior Council Marcel Crawford. Drs Waldrond and Richmond are the Veterinary Officers of the club. Senior Council Marcel Crawford doubles up as the legal advisor and is a general confidant of the Racing entity.
The club, which was established in 1975. is one of the most active racing entities in Guyana. The Track is one of the better kept tracks in Guyana and with its ability to dry quickly is one of the fastest in the country.
During the year, six race meets were held by the facility namely starting with the meet on Sunday 30th January, followed by meets on Sunday 20th March, Sunday 3rd July, Sunday 25th September and closing off with the Multimillion meet on Sunday 6th November.
The club would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all those who supported and assist it throughout the year in one way or another including sponsorship and is wishing them all the best for the New Year. It is also looking for their continued Patronage and support and is promising patrons and Race fans an even more exciting, interesting and action pack racing season in 2012.
