Falcons defeated Rebels by 5 wickets in the latest action of the Prakash Poultry Farm 50 over U-15 cricket competition last Saturday at Enterprise in Leguan.
Rebels took first turn at the crease and managed 111 before being bowled out. Satesh Latchana who hit a top score of 76, which included four fours, was the only batsman that offered any resistance as his team’s poor running between the wickets which resulted in several top order batsmen being run out, folded in 19.2 overs.
Mark Williams 1-10 and Deon Steven 1-15 were the wicket takers for Falcons who responded with 112-5 in 18 overs.
Williams returned to hit a top score of 33 (2×4) not out while Nathan Holder assisted with an unbeaten 21. Falcons now lead the 8 match series 4-0. The competition continues today. (Zaheer Mohamed)
